Philomela's Chorus brings together the work of four emerging artists from literature, visual arts, and the moving image. It offers an opportunity to see a new and exciting range of styles and approaches – from the polyphonic to the deeply personal. Philomela’s Chorus is not just an exercise in image making; it is a unique and challenging programme, which attempts to create a shared visual vocabulary.

We are excited to be joined by Jay Bernard in Nairobi for this event.

After the screening of Philomela's Chorus, Jay Benard will be in conversation with visual Artists Awuor Onyango.

Jay Bernard produced the short film, Something Said, for Philomela’s chorus and won the 2017 Ted Hugh’s prize for new poetry
